Here at Piaggio, we take care of the people we come into contact with and areas in which we operate. From respect for human rights to partnerships with suppliers, our daily commitment is reflected in concrete actions to build stronger and more cohesive communities.
Key objectives

Our human resources
The expertise, talent and passion of our human resources are what make them the cornerstone of Piaggio's competitiveness and growth. People are the key to facing challenges in an increasingly dynamic and competitive international scenario. This is why Piaggio puts people first, guaranteeing their respect and protection at all Group Companies.
Our suppliers
Suppliers are a key element in improving Piaggio’s competitiveness: the quality of components crucially affects the end product and, therefore, customer satisfaction.
Piaggio requires its suppliers to sign the Group’s Code of Ethics that requires an explicit commitment to comply with laws on the environment, pollution, health and safety and respect for workers’ rights, so as to ensure compliance with its ethical values throughout the production and sales cycle of its products.

Our customers
In order to constantly improve the quality and perceived comfort of its vehicles, Piaggio has implemented a detailed, precise, robust and binding product development process, careful and scrupulous audits on outgoing quality from a customer perspective, and an effective system for product and part traceability. The Group constantly strives for excellence in the management of internal and external production processes and continuously monitors data from the assistance network regarding any issues encountered by customers.

Quality
Obtaining and constantly maintaining quality management system certifications at a global level (ISO 9001:2015) is part of the corporate culture and represents an asset for all Group employees. The results achieved in terms of product reliability, improved process performance and increased customer satisfaction (internal and external) arise from the fact that the words quality, customer focus, constant improvement and excellence have become principles pursued in the daily activities of the entire workforce.

The community
The Group is committed to redistributing part of the economic value generated to support social solidarity and local promotion initiatives. The collaboration between the Piaggio Group and (RED) – an association founded in 2006 by Bono and Bobby Shriver – continued. Thanks to the help of partners and supporters, the project generates funds to combat AIDS and pandemics.

The Vietnamese and Indian associates have also always been socially active, aiding and promoting, respectively, projects to support local associations working with needy families and education, and social projects that generally concern water and sanitation, education and women’s empowerment.
