Our suppliers

The quality of Piaggio’s products also depends on the quality of its suppliers. The Piaggio Group carries out intensive scouting and inspections to select and evaluate new suppliers, constantly monitoring their quality levels and approving processes for the development of new components. Over the years, the Group has embarked on a journey of shared growth with its suppliers thanks to a specific Vendor Assessment process, with the strategic objective of creating a network of long-lasting and mutually satisfying partnerships with highly qualified partners.

Our customers

In order to constantly improve the quality and perceived comfort of its vehicles, Piaggio has implemented a detailed, precise, robust and binding product development process, careful and scrupulous audits on outgoing quality from a customer perspective, and an effective system for product and part traceability. The Group constantly strives for excellence in the management of internal and external production processes and continuously monitors data from the assistance network regarding any issues encountered by customers.

Obtaining and constantly maintaining quality management system certifications at a global level (ISO 9001:2015) is part of the corporate culture and represents an asset for all Group employees. The results achieved in terms of product reliability, improved process performance and increased customer satisfaction (internal and external) arise from the fact that the words quality, customer focus, constant improvement and excellence have become principles pursued in the daily activities of the entire workforce.


The community

The Group is committed to redistributing part of the economic value generated to support social solidarity and local promotion initiatives.
In 2023 the collaboration between the Piaggio Group and (RED) for the fight against AIDS and pandemics continued. The partnership has been renewed for another two years (01/01/2024 - 31/12/2025). Moreover, the Group supports the local communities; among the various initiatives, the Piaggio Group donated 200,000 euro to the Civil Defence of Emilia-Romagna, which was hit by flooding, and 250,000 euro to the “Restart Fund” set up by the Municipality of Pontedera for the emergency caused by the floods.

The Vietnamese and Indian associates have also always been socially active, aiding and promoting, respectively, projects to support local associations working with needy families and education, and social projects that generally concern water and sanitation, education and women’s empowerment.
