Piaggio Fast Forward (PFF)

Piaggio Fast Forward (PFF) was set up in Boston, USA, in 2015. It is a plural, multicultural and multidisciplinary project where history, research, design and industry come together to develop a new way of doing research, in order to interpret the signs of change and to find innovative solutions to the mobility problems of goods and people.

Today PFF is exploring the world of robotics applied to human mobility and Artificial Intelligence, integrating a range of technologies, to rise to the challenges caused by the rapid change worldwide.

The terrestrial robots gita® and gitamini® manufactured in the Piaggio Fast Forward factory in Boston are already on sale on the American market, where the circulation of robots on city streets has been regulated for some time. PFF has also designed and developed an innovative range of sensors which are already installed on some Piaggio Group vehicles and integrated into advanced rider assistance systems (ARAS). They play a key role in preventing accidents and protecting riders.
