Piaggio Group: 2011 financial report Oscar in the listed corporations category

Pontedera, 2 December 2011 – The Piaggio Group has won the 2011 financial report Oscar, the Oscar di Bilancio. The award presentation ceremony held last night in Milan at the Italian Stock Exchange was attended by Roberto Colaninno, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Piaggio & C. S.p.A..

The important recognition won by Piaggio, in the category for listed companies and corporations, was awarded for “economic and financial reporting disclosed in an essential and transparent manner, conveying effectively the various financial and economic issues, including those relating to the Group’s operations”. The motivations for the assignment of the 2011 Oscar di Bilancio to Piaggio included the qualitative and methodological level of its “Corporate Social Responsibility” report.

The 2011 Oscar di Bilancio was promoted and organised by FERPI, the federation of Italian PR agencies, with contributions from Acri, Aiia, Ania, Assolombarda, Borsa Italiana, Cndcec; the cooperation of Aiaf, Aire, Andaf, Anima per il sociale nei valori d'impresa, Assirevi, CSR Manager Network, Feem, Fondazione Sodalitas, Nedcommunity, Gruppo 24 Ore.
