Mr Pallottini began his career in 1981 as a Business Analyst for GEPI S.p.A.. Between 1985 and 1995 he occupied various positions within ENI S.p.A., specifically: Manager, Mergers and Acquisitions in AGENI S.p.A. from 1985 to 1990, Assistant to the Managing Director of finance and development company IN.SAR. from 1991 to 1992, Operational Director of investment monitors MONEO S.p.A. from 1993 to 1994 and, from 1994 to 1995, Manager, Industrial Promotions at ENISUD S.p.A., an industrial development company.
He joined Telecom Italia Mobile S.p.A. in 1996 and remained with the company in positions of increasing responsibility and seniority until he entered the Piaggio Group. From 1996 to 1998 he was Manager, Planning and Control, becoming Customer Care Manager in 1998 and, from 1999 to 2001, Manager, Business Planning and Systems. In 2001 he became Chief Financial Officer, and in 2002, Business Manager, Latin America.
