Robert Colaninno released a series of figures on Group year-on-year performance

Speaking after the Piaggio & C. SpA shareholders’ meeting, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Robert Colaninno released a series of figures on Group year-on-year performance:
+ 21% improvement in turnover on the Indian market in the first five months of 2008 in local currency (rupee)
+ 30% improvement in turnover on the Asia Pacific market in the first five months of 2008 in euro
+ 26% improvement in turnover on the US market in May, in local currency (dollar).
